I am a proud Expressive Arts Therapist who has used the arts in my own healing journey.
I received my Masters in Expressive Arts Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2008 from Lesley University, and returned to Lesley years later to get my doctorate in Expressive Therapies in 2018.
Beyond my education in the Expressive Arts, I have training in Somatic Experiencing, Authentic Movement, EMDR, Internal Family Systems therapy, and mindfulness practices. I work with clients to determine which of these modalities best suits their needs.
I have worked with clients of all ages, from various cultures and identities, living with various diagnoses. I have worked in school settings, hospitals, nursing homes, daycares, community centers, day treatment programs, and beyond.
I currently see individuals at my private practice in Omaha, Nebraska; I teach remotely in Lesley University’s Expressive Therapies graduate program; I offer trainings and workshops related to Expressive Therapies; and I supervise new clinicians.
